The Role
We are seeking a skilled Shopify Plus Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Shopify development, with a preference for 3+ years of experience in general web development. This individual should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to execute carefully articulated designs meticulously.
Initially, candidates will participate in paid training sessions to familiarize themselves with our proprietary methods for developing Shopify Plus sites, as consistency with our other development procedures is paramount.

The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Shopify development.
- 3+ years of experience in general web development.
- Strong experience with UI/UX design and development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid programming language.
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
- Strong understanding of Shopify's ecosystem, including themes, templates, and APIs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to undergo initial training in our proprietary methods for Shopify Plus development (training will be compensated).
Extra Credit
- Experience interfacing with Figma for design direction and Jira for task management
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Shopify Plus solutions based on project requirements and specifications.
- Customize and configure themes, apps, and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to translate design concepts into functional Shopify Plus websites.
- Perform quality assurance testing to ensure the stability, security, and performance of Shopify sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify development.
- Provide timely updates and progress reports on project status.
Position & Expected Hours of Work
- This is a contract position. Hours are flexible but candidates should be available to attend meetings between 10:00am and noon, US Mountain Time Zone.
- Commitment: Ability to commit to project timelines and see projects through completion.
- Contract duration: Typically 4-10 weeks per project.
Compensation
- Payment: Hourly rate, commensurate with experience and skills.
- Potential for Future Opportunities: Contractors may be considered for full-time positions when available.
